Information days in Montana and Kyustendil to improve regional competitiveness and tourism
On July 12 and 13, 2023, the operational unit of the Interreg VI-A Bulgaria - Serbia 2021-2027 Programme held information events in Montana and Kyustendil, Bulgaria.
The opportunities and requirements for submitting project concepts for improving regional competitiveness, including in the field of tourism, within the framework of the "Integrated development of the border region" priority, were presented.
The call for project concepts aims to identify projects that will focus on the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage, support for natural tourism sites, development of natural resources and investment in tourism infrastructure.
Experts from the operational unit briefed the participants on the application process, applicant eligibility, the project proposal readiness plan, concept evaluation methodology and practical application guidelines. The presentations are attached below.
Interested participants had the opportunity to ask their questions regarding the application.
Information days will be held in the town of Zajecar on July 17 at 10:30 a.m. in the hall of the Zajecar administrative district and on July 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the hall of the restaurant “Gazela”, city of Pirot, Serbia.
Organizations looking for partners for joint projects can participate in the Partner Search Forum, which will be held on July 19 at 2 p.m. in the hall of the restaurant “Gazela”, city of Pirot, Serbia. During the event, participants will meet other organizations or experts who have similar interests and fields of activity to create their future partnerships for the development of joint project proposals.
